Excursion to the recreational facility of Ludwiguberg Youth Sports Club
The Sports Youth Association (SYA) recently paid a visit to their holiday program on the platform, a four-week initiative designed for children and young people. The visit was an opportunity for the SYA to see firsthand the diverse and extensive range of activities on offer.
Accompanied by Matthias Müller, Chairman of the Sports Youth Association Ludwigsburg, Theresa Schopper, Minister of Education Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Karlin Stark, and Stefanie Gutenkunst from the management team of Untersteinbach, the group was given a tour of the premises.
During the tour, the visitors were impressed by the dedication and commitment of the care team, as well as the large voluntary commitment they had shown. The group was also treated to ice cream, a surprise for the children and caregivers.
The holiday program caters to children and young people aged 10 to 15, offering a variety of activities such as table football, billiards, and gymnastics mats. Even the rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the participants, who continued to enjoy the activities with enthusiasm.
The holiday program is run by the FamilienCampus Lausitz gGmbH, led by Managing Director Tom Lehnert since April 1, 2023. The program operates from 17 to 22 hours each day, providing a comprehensive schedule of activities for the children and young people.
The SYA offers this program on the platform during the summer holidays, providing a valuable service for families seeking quality, engaging activities for their children during the break. The visit by the officials served not only as a morale boost for the care team and participants but also as a chance to gain valuable feedback and insights into the program's effectiveness and impact.
