The British motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has announced the upcoming release of its latest model, the Himalayan 750. This new offering is set to join the company's lineup as its new flagship adventure bike, aiming to make a significant impact in the competitive market.

The Himalayan 750 will follow the Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 750, which will both debut the new 750 cc engine series that Royal Enfield is developing. This new engine is expected to produce 50-55 bhp, while delivering a torque of 60-65 Nm.

Royal Enfield has been testing the Himalayan 750 in Ladakh, and recently released images of its top brass riding the new bike in the region. The leader of Royal Enfield, B Govindarajan, the CEO of Royal Enfield and Managing Director of Eicher Motors, shared the first official photos of the Himalayan 750 in Ladakh.

The Himalayan 750 is designed to be a robust and versatile adventure bike, equipped with features such as a long-travel USD fork, dual purpose tyres, and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels. It also boasts a broader muscular body compared to its predecessor, the Himalayan 450.

However, the Himalayan 750 does not appear to have significant new features beyond its design and increased engine size. It seems to follow a similar design language to the first official teaser of the Himalayan 450, which was released a couple of years ago.

The Himalayan 750 will face stiff competition in the market, with models like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and upcoming smaller, lighter parallel-twin 450 cc ADVs like the BMW F 450 GS and the Aprilia Tuareg 457.
