The vibrant city of Düsseldorf is gearing up for its fourth annual Kiosk Day, an event that brings together food, music, and culture from various corners of the city.

This year's edition will see a total of 23 kiosks participating, most of which are located in the inner-city districts of Bilk, Derendorf, Pempelfort, Flingern, and even one outside the city centre at Conni and Willi.

The heart of the action will be at Lessingplatz, where a repurposed kiosk will be active and the "Callshop Radio" crew, including DJs Owns Jules, Chesney Tropicale, Ole Magi, Kaspar van de Water, and Jamal F, will provide music all day long.

In Oberbilk, behind the station, six kiosks will offer a variety of programs, making it the epicentre of this year's event. Notably, "Kiosk Pope" Yasar Karakus's kiosk, known as the "HipHop Kiosk", will continue to embrace this sound.

Food lovers can look forward to a range of culinary delights. The Trinkhalle am Volksgarten, located on Volksgartenstraße, will serve Sri Lankan cuisine, while grill stations will be set up for food during the day. For those with a sweet tooth, Salinos, Brauseufos, and white mice will be available for dessert.

A flea market can also be found on Volksgartenstraße, adding to the eclectic mix of offerings.

The event, organised by the Initiative Düsseldorf Kiosk Day, participating kiosk operators, and creative individuals from the city, will also feature exhibitions, DJ sets, band performances, children's activities, and more.

Live music will be performed by OIRO, Johnny Notebook (Wuppertal), and I am the fly at the Trinkhalle Beder on Borsigstraße. The "reinraum" at Adersstraße 30 will serve as the information hub for all things related to the Kiosk Day and will host the official after-party starting at 10 PM.

Mark your calendars, as the Düsseldorf Kiosk Day is happening on August 24th. It's a day not to be missed for those who appreciate the city's unique blend of culture, food, and music.
