Experienced swift relief for my tensed shoulders after following the most recent yoga regimen by the web's renowned yogi tutor.

In August 2025, Adriene Mishler, known as Yoga With Adriene, shared a new routine focused on improving shoulder and wrist mobility. With over 13 million followers on YouTube, Mishler has been the go-to for yoga at home for many, including the author.

The 10-minute routine offers satisfying stretches for the shoulders and wrists, providing physical and mental relief from a desk job. The practice is quick, making it ideal for instant relief, and it does not require any specific equipment. A yoga mat, folded blanket, or towel can provide padding for kneeling sections for those with sensitive knees.

During the practice, the author realised they were holding more tension in their wrists than they realised. After doing the practice, their shoulders felt more relaxed with significantly less pain, and they heard satisfying cracks in the upper back. The practice provided relief from tension in the shoulders and wrists.

The routine includes poses that mobilise the shoulders and wrists, moving them through different planes and ranges of motion. The author plans to incorporate these movements into their regular routine to develop lasting mobility and reduce stiffness.

The author plans to come back to the practice whenever their shoulders feel tight, finding it to be an effective method for managing tension and maintaining mobility. All in all, this new routine from Adriene Mishler is a valuable addition to any yoga practice, offering relief and improvement for the shoulders and wrists.
