Madame Morbid's Haunted Trolley Tour Returns for Another Spooky Season in New York

Get ready to experience the city that never sleeps in a whole new light as Madame Morbid's Haunted Trolley Tour makes its comeback this autumn. Since its inception in 2011 by Jennifer Walcott, this tour has been giving New Yorkers goosebumps and leaving them enthralled with its unique blend of history and the supernatural.

This year, the custom-built trolley, adorned with velvet red curtains, chandeliers, plush leather seats, and a red carpet aisle, will take you on a journey through Brooklyn's hidden cemeteries, historic sites, and unexpected locations.

One of the highlights of the tour is the reveal of George Washington's former headquarters, as well as the EPA waste dump in Gowanus. But that's not all - the tour also uncovers the eerie secrets of Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

As you ride along, guides will regale you with spine-tingling tales of mafia hits, Revolutionary War battles, alien abductions, and paranormal encounters. To add to the thrill, the tour includes spooky trivia games with frightening prizes, and a screen inside the trolley plays mini-documentaries showing how sites looked hundreds of years ago.

If you're looking for a taste of the paranormal, the Williamsburg bar sitting on 30,000 graves is not to be missed. And if you're a fan of apples, the city's biggest and free apple festival returns this October, complete with apple pie baking contests, live music, and more.

But be warned, the Trader Joe's in Cobble Hill is reportedly haunted, adding another layer of mystery to your tour. CNN describes Madame Morbid's tours as "spooky tales of spirits lurking around every corner of Brooklyn," while The New York Times calls them "an unnerving reminder of the forgotten necropolis that Brooklyn really is."

Tickets for Madame Morbid's Haunted Trolley Tour range from $59 to $69, and private tours for groups are available. With tours running until November, there's still plenty of time to book your spot and join in the fun. So, gather your bravest friends and embark on a journey through New York's haunted past - if you dare!
