Explosion at a Fireworks Factory in Lucknow Triggers Fatalities, Emergency Rescue Work Continues
In a tragic turn of events, a blast occurred at a firecracker factory operating within a residential house in Lucknow's Gudamba area on Sunday. The explosion caused a portion of the roof to collapse, trapping at least two individuals under the debris.
According to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), two people were killed in the incident, and several others were injured. The ACP also confirmed that rescue operations are ongoing due to the roof collapse.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences for the deaths and directed officials to rush to the site and ensure that relief and rescue operations are expedited.
