Federal law enforcement apprehends wanted female suspect at Cologne-Bonn Airport, under the jurisdiction of North Rhine-Westphalia (BPOL NRW)
On August 25, 2025, a 24-year-old German citizen was arrested at the Airport Cologne/Bonn by the Federal Police Directorate Sankt Augustin. The arrest occurred during a border police immigration check of a flight from Tangier, Morocco.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Wiesbaden had issued an arrest warrant for the individual due to a final conviction for negligent bodily harm. As a result, there was an enforcement order against the arrested individual.
The Federal Police at Cologne/Bonn Airport contribute to enforcing court decisions and ensuring public safety through controls. The arrested woman presented a valid German ID card during the check.
Following the arrest, the woman was taken into custody at the Cologne-Ossendorf prison. The prison is the location where she is currently being held.
It was reported that the convicted woman could not afford to pay a fine of 1,800 euros and court costs of 433 euros to avoid a substitute detention of 45 days.
