Federal law enforcement has carried out an arrest based on a court-issued warrant at BPOLI MD's location.

A 43-year-old Polish man was arrested by the Federal Police at Halle (Saale) Central Station on S-Bahn 3 on July 8, 2025, at 08:50 AM. The man had an arrest warrant from the Public Prosecutor's Office in Krefeld, issued in April 2025, for an alternative imprisonment of 43 days due to his failure to comply with an earlier order to serve a sentence for petty theft.

The man was sentenced by the Nettetal Local Court to a fine of 900 euros or 45 days of imprisonment for petty theft in May 2020. However, he had previously attempted to raise the amount of 860 euros to avoid imprisonment, but these attempts were unsuccessful.

The man's arrest took place on platform 2 of Halle (Saale) Central Station. After completing all necessary procedures, he was taken to a detention facility. The issuing authority was informed about the execution of the arrest warrant.

The man's identity is not provided in the available search results. For further questions, the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg can be contacted. Their contact details are: +49 (0) 391-56549-505, e-mail: [email protected], and Twitter handle: @bpol_pir.
