FIFA Launches Ticket Sales
FIFA World Cup 2026 Ticket Sales Begin This Month
The highly-anticipated FIFA World Cup 2026 is just around the corner, and ticket sales are set to commence this month. The competition, featuring 48 national teams, will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
For those eager to secure their seats for the World Cup matches, here's a breakdown of the ticket sales process.
Pre-Sale for Visa Card Holders
Visa card holders can take advantage of a pre-sale opportunity. From September 10 to 19, 2025, fans who have a Visa card balance can register on the FIFA website to participate in the exclusive Visa pre-sale lottery. Winners of the lottery will be able to purchase tickets starting October 1.
General Ticket Sales
For the general public, ticket sales will commence in various phases. The second phase registration will take place between October 27 and 31. During this phase, fans can register for the opportunity to buy tickets, but specific match selections will not be possible yet.
Sales during the second phase will occur between mid-November and early December. It's important to note that the number of tickets that can be bought per person or throughout the competition has not been specified.
The third phase of ticket sales will take place after the draw on December 5 in Washington. During this phase, buyers can finally select specific matches they wish to attend.
Ticket Limits and Pricing
Sales are limited to 4 tickets per person per match and a maximum of 40 tickets can be bought throughout the competition. Ticket prices for the group stage matches will range from $60, while the final will cost $6170.
It's worth mentioning that ticket prices may change based on demand, but no specific information about potential price adjustments has been provided.
Supporter Tickets and Resale Platform
For those wishing to gather with other spectators supporting the same team, "Supporter tickets" will be available. Additionally, a resale platform will be available for ticket purchases.
Spectators can buy tickets for a single match, specific stadium, and a particular team. Remaining tickets can be purchased just before the start of the World Cup on a first-come, first-served basis.
