The 2025 CiTTi Awards: Expanded Line-Up and New Categories
The CiTTi Awards, a prestigious event organised by CiTTi Magazine, are back for their 6th edition, and this year promises to be bigger and better. The deadline for entries is fast approaching, with submissions closing at 5pm BST on Friday 22 August.
For the first time, the awards will have an expanded 29-category line-up, celebrating organisations that enable efficient movement of people, goods, and materials through UK towns and cities. The new categories include River Services, Last-Mile Logistics Award, City or Town of the Year, Rising Star Award, Rail Services, and Alternative Fuels Award.
The awards are structured across six parent groups: Applied Technologies, Facilities and Infrastructure, Community Impact, Road Users, and the newly added Rail Services.
The jurors for the 2025 CiTTi Awards are an independent expert group in the UK transport sector, but their names have not been publicly disclosed yet.
The shortlist for the 2025 awards will be announced on Wednesday 3 September, and judging will take place via online interview during the week commencing Monday 6 October. The eventual winners will be announced during a live ceremony at London's De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on Tuesday 25 November.
Last year's ceremony took place on 26 November 2024 at the same venue, hosted by Irish comedian Andrew Ryan. This year, the event will be hosted by British stand-up comedian Lucy Porter, known for her appearances on Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, QI, BBC Radio 4, and Fingers on Buzzers.
