Financial access in Senegal is set to be revolutionized with the debut of intelligent kiosks by KaliSpot. These kiosks will likely mark a significant shift in how financial services are provided.

In a significant stride towards simplifying daily life and promoting financial inclusion, KaliSpot, a visionary startup, has announced the deployment of its first 1Net smart kiosks in the Senegalese capital, Dakar. This marks the beginning of a large-scale rollout across Senegal in 2025, followed by expansion to other countries in the sub-region.

Founded by Mika DIOL, KaliSpot aims to build the first hybrid (physical and intelligent) proximity platform in West and Central Africa within three years. The strategic partnership with Solarix is seen as paving the way for a new stage of growth and transformation for the financial and technological ecosystems.

The KaliSpot 1Net kiosks, located in Dakar, are a decisive turning point in KaliSpot's mission to bring finance and essential services closer to citizens. These neighborhood access points, available 24/7, bring together a shared and hybrid infrastructure, providing cash-in and cash-out services for customers of Banks, Fintechs, and Mobile Money providers.

Powered by proprietary technology, the kiosks combine shared infrastructure, conversational AI in local languages, and biometric verification. This technology aims to guarantee ease of use and maximum inclusivity, addressing fragmentation and limitations in urban and rural areas.

The partnership between KaliSpot and Solarix reflects a commitment to building sustainable and interoperable infrastructure solutions in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. Solarix CEO, Jacinthe Masamba, stated that the partnership is a reflection of their commitment to redefining access to financial services, enhancing integration between the Congo Basin markets and the rest of Africa.

KaliSpot's ambition is to make finance accessible to everyone, everywhere, and at any time, without technological barriers or exclusions. This initiative is a revolution in the relationship between consumers and financial services in the region, aligning with the regional initiatives currently underway in the UEMOA zone.

With the launch of the first units in Dakar, KaliSpot has signed its first distribution partnership with Solarix, strengthening its presence in the Congo Basin. The company's ambition is to build within three years, with the help of carefully selected partners, the first hybrid (physical and intelligent) proximity platform in West and Central Africa. This platform is expected to simplify daily life for users by providing a seamless, accessible, and fully interoperable experience.
