Fire Breaks Out in Fifth-Floor Kitchen of a Multifamily Building in FW Hannover
Hannover Fire Department Extinguishes Kitchen Fire in Sahlkamp District
A kitchen fire broke out in a multi-family home located on StraΓe HaΜgewiesen, Hannover, on Thursday afternoon around 15:30. The incident was reported due to black smoke coming from a window of an apartment on the 5th floor.
Fortunately, no one was inside the affected apartment at the time of the fire. Thirteen vehicles were deployed by the Hannover Fire Department to handle the blaze. The fire department's emergency services team was on the scene, conducting a search of the apartment and working to extinguish the fire.
The fire was quickly extinguished using a fire department fan. However, the apartment is currently uninhabitable due to the fire damage. The extent of the damage caused by the kitchen fire is undisclosed at this time.
Additional police personnel were also present at the scene to ensure the safety of the surrounding area. The cause of the kitchen fire remains unknown.
The Hannover Fire Department did not reveal the exact number of vehicles and personnel that left the scene after the fire was extinguished. The incident was resolved around 16:30.
