In the heart of Hagen, a tragic incident occurred on Dahler Street on June 30, 2025, at approximately 4:30 PM. The incident, a head-on collision involving two Mercedes vehicles, has left the community in shock.

The accident took place just before the Ribbert Street intersection. The vehicles involved were a Mercedes E-Class and a Mercedes A-Class. The occupants of the Mercedes A-Class, a 33-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, and a 5-year-old boy from Hagen, were severely injured. The driver of the Mercedes E-Class, a 34-year-old woman from the Ennepe-Ruhr district, was also injured and was taken to a nearby hospital after receiving medical treatment at the scene.

The driver of the Mercedes A-Class veered into oncoming traffic, causing the accident. Four ambulances, two emergency doctors, and two rescue helicopters were deployed to treat the injured. Although the helicopters landed at the scene, they were not needed.
