Fire Engulfs Meadow: Federal Highway Blocked by Flames

The Northhausen Police Inspectorate is currently investigating a field fire that occurred on federal road 249 in the Unstrut-Hainich district. The incident took place on Wednesday, just before noon, and was reported to the police and fire brigade.

The fire, approximately 250 square meters in size, caused a temporary closure of federal road 249. However, the full closure was lifted after the extinguishing work was completed around 12:40 PM. Fortunately, no persons were injured during the fire.

The Northhausen Police Inspectorate, as the authority responsible for the investigation, is providing updates on the ongoing investigation. They may release a statement regarding the incident, as well as further information about the circumstances surrounding the fire.
