Fire suppression efforts underway on Rudolf-Diesel-Straße in Böblingen

A fire incident occurred in a commercial building on Rudolf-Diesel-Straße, Böblingen, Germany, on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:48 AM. The automatic fire alarm system was triggered, prompting the immediate response of the Böblingen Fire Department and the Sindelfingen Fire Department, who dispatched around 40 personnel to the scene.

Upon arrival, the firefighters found that the automatic sprinkler system had activated in a hall of the company. Their initial tasks included extinguishing the fire and ventilating the affected area to ensure the safety of all present.

During the operation, it was reported that one person was missing. The Böblingen Fire Department initiated a rescue operation, and the rescued individual was subsequently transported to a hospital. The German Red Cross Böblingen local association, as well as the police, were also on site to assist.

The Böblingen Fire Department was responsible for monitoring the affected area and ensuring the safety of the surroundings. For the duration of the operation, Rudolf-Diesel-Straße was fully closed.
