Firefighting Competition in Stuttgart: Third Event of Its Kind Hosted by FW Konstanz
Firefighters from Konstanz Shine at the 3rd Firefighter Combat Challenge Stuttgart
The 3rd Firefighter Combat Challenge Stuttgart, hosted by the US Army Garrison Stuttgart, took place on August 16, 2025, at the Panzerkaserne in Böblingen. The sporting event attracted firefighters from the Stuttgart region and US military bases in Germany. Among the participants were three representatives from the Konstanz Fire Department.
In the Individual category, all three Konstanz firefighters, Sven Reuter, Tim Schaffert, and Andreas Wilhelm, tackled various tasks in the course while wearing breathing apparatus. This category required each firefighter to complete all stations individually.
The Konstanz Fire Department also fielded a Tandem team, with Andreas Wilhelm and Sven Reuter joining forces. In this category, two firefighters share the course and symbolically pass a baton at the exchange. During the event, they demonstrated a seamless partnership, showcasing their teamwork and skill.
Tim Schaffert, one of the Konstanz participants, made a remarkable debut in this type of competition. He finished in second place in his age group, demonstrating his dedication and athletic prowess.
The Konstanz Fire Department's results in the 3rd Firefighter Combat Challenge Stuttgart are being warmly congratulated. For further information about their performance, please contact Fabian Daltoe at [email protected] or visit feuerwehr.konstanz.de.
The Konstanz Fire Department should be proud of their achievements at the event. Their participation and success serve as a testament to their commitment to excellence and their readiness to face challenges head-on.
