Floral Art World Cup Task 3: Distinctive Dutch Artwork for the Competition
The World Cup Floral Art 2025, a prestigious event showcasing the best floral artistry from around the globe, took place at the World Forum The Hague, an international conference and event venue. The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a flowery atmosphere for every flower lover.
This year, 23 unique floral designs were presented as part of Task 3, each created by a talented floral artist from a different country. The designs were a testament to the creativity, skill, and passion of the participants, who had 90 minutes to complete their masterpieces.
Among the participants were Claudia Tararache from Romania, Jenny Ingrum from the United States, who won Task 3, Frédéric Dupré from France, Chantal Post from Belgium, Tomasz 'Max' Kuczyński from Poland, Karmen Kovač Resnik from Slovenia, Christopher Ernst from Germany, Säde Alanen from Finland, Croatia's Magdalena Kahlina, Do Hyun Lee from the Republic of Korea, Karolína Žáčková from the Czech Republic, Netherlands' own Franka Roenhorst, Japan's Hiroto Inoue, Ukraine's Olena Driuchan, Italy's Rudi Casati, Switzerland's Christian Ulrich, Armenia's Marina Bulatova (assistant of Arman Voskanyan), Hungary's Gábor Nagy, Oscar Villela from Latin America, Spain's Irati Tamarit, Estonia's Saale Halla, China's Ni Zhixiang, and Norway's Eilin Katarina Melkersen.
The designs were judged based on various criteria, including creativity, technique, adherence to the theme, and the durability of the finished piece. The theme for Task 3 was "The Netherlands, Land of Water," and each designer was given a surprise package of botanical materials, the identity of which was kept anonymous for judging. Designers were also required to bring their own framework for the designs, but a constructed prop was provided.
One of the key rules for Task 3 was that 50% of the botanical materials needed for the designs must be placed into Oasis Bio Floral Foam. The completed designs were required to last for 4 days. The botanical materials for the designs were sponsored by Marginpar.
The World Cup Floral Art 2025 offered an intimate setting for personalized experiences and exclusive branding opportunities. The event celebrated the beauty of floral art and the talent of the artists who create it, providing a stunning display of creativity and skill for all to enjoy.
