Anyone who discovers an affected product in their fridge can return it to the place of purchase and will receive their money back. A cash register receipt is not required for the return of the affected product.
The recall does not affect other products of Franz Wiltmann GmbH & Co. KG. The recalled salami is sold nationwide and can be found at Lidl, Edeka, Hit, and Kaufland, among other stores. Special caution is advised for infants, young children, seniors, and people with weakened immune systems.
