In the picturesque open-air stage of southern Baden-Württemberg, the popular ARD show "Every Sunday, Again and Again" took place last Sunday. The live broadcast, which was the second-to-last of the current season, saw a change in the moderator role as Stefan Mross, a pop star, was unable to host due to family reasons.

Stepping into Mross's shoes was none other than Stefanie Hertel, a veteran of television with a career spanning 40 years. Hertel made her first appearance in 1985 on the DDR TV show "Oberhofer Bauernmarkt."

The change in moderators was not unexpected, as it was Mross's wish for his ex-wife, Hertel, to host the show. The couple were together for 17 years, five of which they were married, before divorcing in December 2012.

Hertel began the live broadcast with a heartfelt message, saying, "All of us here in the 'Every Sunday, Again and Again' arena, my family and I, we're thinking of you, always, and we're thinking of you!" The sentiment was no doubt directed towards Mross, who had been unable to host due to the passing of his mother, Stefanie, at the age of 85 in her home in Upper Bavaria.

Mross, who is 49 years old, expressed his gratitude for Hertel's support during this difficult time. He was also supported by pop singer Uta Bresan during the live broadcast.

This year, the show "Every Sunday, Again and Again" is being produced in the Europa-Park in Rust, with a total of 12 live shows being planned. The show regularly attracts a million-strong audience, making it a highly anticipated event each week.

The information about Mross's absence and Hertel's moderation was reported by Southwest Broadcasting (SWR). Despite the change in moderators, the show ran smoothly, with Hertel's experience and understanding of the show's format proving to be a great asset.

Stefanie Hertel, who is 46 years old, has made a name for herself in the television industry and was a fitting replacement for Mross during his time of grief. The audience was undoubtedly touched by her heartfelt message at the beginning of the live broadcast, and the show continued to captivate viewers with its engaging content and performances.
