Forty-eight updates now available on our police department's official website
In a significant move to bolster the law enforcement presence in the Bergisches Städtedreieck, a total of 89 new commissioners have been deployed across the cities of Wuppertal, Remscheid, and Solingen.
The reinforcements are not limited to a single police station, as both the Wuppertal and Remscheid stations will see an increase of 15 and 48 commissioners respectively. Additionally, the Solingen police station will welcome 4 new members.
The officers are not just new recruits but are transfers from other county police departments, totalling 34 in number. Their exact identities, however, have not been disclosed in the search results.
The ceremony to welcome these new commissioners took place in the presidency, with Wuppertal's Mayor Uwe Schneidewind in attendance. In his greeting speech, Mayor Schneidewind, on behalf of the mayors of the Bergisches Städtedreieck, expressed his confidence in the new officers and welcomed them to their respective stations.
Alongside the commissioners, the Directory of Traffic and the Directory of Crime will also see the addition of 3 and 19 new members respectively. These new additions are expected to strengthen the management and response capabilities of the traffic and crime departments in the region.
This strategic deployment of personnel is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the safety and security of the residents of the Bergisches Städtedreieck. With the new commissioners joining the ranks, the region can look forward to a more robust and efficient police force.
