Forvia Showcases Extraordinary Automotive Innovations at Shanghai Exhibition
Forvia Makes a Splash at Auto Shanghai with Innovative Technologies
Forvia, a global automotive supplier, is making waves at the Shanghai auto show with its diverse array of cutting-edge technologies. The company, founded in 2023, is showcasing its innovations from April 24, demonstrating its commitment to the future of the automotive industry.
At the heart of Forvia's display is the Skyline, an immersive infotainment system that delivers navigation, driver information, safety alerts, and customizable apps. The system's unique design assembles six smaller displays instead of one large, curved screen, offering a seamless, immersive experience at an affordable cost.
Forvia is also showcasing its Safe 60 Seat, a seat designed with maximum safety in mind while providing a premium massage experience. The ZenMassage seat offers new kneading, rubbing, tapping, and grasping functions for a superior relaxation experience.
The company is bullish about the potential for hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles and has developed an innovative MultiCavity hydrogen storage system to address roadblocks in battery-electric trucks. This initiative underscores Forvia's commitment to sustainable and efficient transportation solutions.
Forvia's AirVision instrument panel uses a "gaze-and-select" technology, reducing distractions for a seamless driving experience. The panel displays 3D virtual instrument panel images on a flat, translucent surface integrated into the instrument panel.
The next-generation transparent door technology, another key feature, uses advanced projection technology to display a video feed from exterior cameras on the upper interior door panel for real-time external visibility. This technology seamlessly connects the vehicle cabin with the outside world, supports dynamic ambient lighting, and provides information displays.
Forvia's CEO, Martin Fischer, stated that the company leads in Electrification, Energy Management, Safe and Automated Driving, and Digital and Sustainable Cockpit Experiences. The company's presence extends beyond Shanghai, with significant sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (47%), Asia (27%), and the Americas (26%). Forvia also has a substantial presence in the Detroit region.
Looking ahead, Forvia projects a revenue of β¬26.3 billion to β¬27.5 billion by 2025. The company's future plans include holographic instrument panels, biometric health monitoring, and less-costly massaging car seats, further solidifying its position as a leader in the automotive industry.
