Four-vehicle collision on Polish roads

In a shocking incident that occurred today at around 10:50 AM, a four-vehicle accident took place on Wolgaster Straße towards Eldena, involving a intersection with the Walther-Rathenau-Straße in Anklam.

The accident involved a Mercedes car, a VW box truck, a VW car, and a Hyundai car. Sadly, the 68-year-old driver of the Hyundai sustained severe injuries in the accident. The drivers of the Mercedes, VW box truck, and VW car were identified as a 56-year-old woman, a 62-year-old man, and a 64-year-old man respectively. All the drivers involved in the accident are German citizens.

The 56-year-old driver of the Mercedes was lightly injured, while the driver of the VW car escaped unscathed. The total material damage from the accident was estimated to be 65,000 euros.

The road was closed for two hours due to the accident, causing a temporary disruption in traffic flow. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the local authorities.
