Accident on A3 Motorway Near Frankfurt: Five Vehicles Involved, Two People Sustained Minor Injuries
A traffic accident occurred on the A3 motorway near Frankfurt, resulting in five vehicles being damaged and two people sustaining minor injuries.
According to reports, a 20-year-old driver of a Corvette was traveling at high speed on the motorway when the vehicle collided with the rear of a passing VW. The impact of the collision caused the Corvette to lose control and be thrown across multiple lanes.
The accident resulted in debris being scattered across the motorway, causing a temporary closure while the area was cleared. Three other vehicles were also damaged by the debris.
The 20-year-old driver and the 50-year-old driver of the VW both sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The motorway was reopened after a few minutes, with one lane being reopened initially. A local bridge was superficially damaged by debris from the accident, but experts have inspected the bridge and confirmed that it poses no threat to its structural integrity at any time.
