The upcoming week will see significant changes on the roads near Bernsfelden, as the local authorities have announced a series of repair works and resurfacing on the intersection of B 19 and L 1001.

Starting on Wednesday, 3rd September, the damaged surface layer of the road will be removed as part of the works. The municipal utilities WSW will carry out necessary preparations before the new asphalt resurfacing.

The new asphalt laying is expected to commence on the same day, with the road being closed to all traffic during this period. The road closure is scheduled to last until approximately Friday, 5th September.

During the road closure, a detour will be signposted to ensure smooth traffic flow around the construction site. The installations such as shafts and inlets will be regulated as part of the works.

The total costs for the repair of the approximately 2,200 square meter road surface are estimated to be around 100,000 euros.

Once the works are completed, the road is expected to be reopened on Friday, 5th September. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and to follow the signposted detours during the road closure.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these essential maintenance works, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. For further updates and information, please visit the municipal website or contact the local authorities.
