Gallery Showcase at Stadthalle's Forum in C-City's Exhibition
Gütersloh, Germany, is set to celebrate its bicentennial in style, as it prepares to host a series of captivating art exhibitions that showcase contemporary works from its partner cities across Europe. The diverse group exhibition "C-City - Europe Lies Next Door" will be on display at the Town Hall's Gallery from the 3rd of September.
This exhibition will feature a wide array of artworks with local connections, created by artists from Broxtowe (UK), Châteauroux (FR), Falun (SE), and Grudziądz (PL). The public will have the opportunity to witness the creative expressions of these artists, presented in various forms such as photography, collages, and intricate prints.

In addition to the "C-City - Europe Lies Next Door" exhibition, the Serpil Neuhaus Gallery will host the "C-City Amateur Project" exhibition "Connecting Europe" from the 3rd of September to October. This exhibition will feature works from artists across Europe, including French photographer Bruno Dewaele, who will take the audience on a visual treasure hunt, and Poland's SOMEART, an interdisciplinary street art artist known for painting, artistic actions in urban spaces, and photography.
From Sweden, artist Nina Edling, a long-standing member of the Falun Art Association, will display some of her works. Works from England include those by illustrator and designer Toby Anderton, photographer Lesley Grand-Scrutton, and artist and Parkinson's activist Jane Shipton.
The artists represented in the exhibition "Art Connects Europe" at the Forum of the Town Hall in Gütersloh from September 3 to October 2025, who are not from Germany, come from Broxtowe (England), Châteauroux (France), Falun (Sweden), and Grudziądz (Poland).
