On the evening of August 17, 2025, a disturbing incident unfolded at Stendal Central Station. A train bound for Berlin was the setting for an altercation involving four male passengers who were later excluded from the train due to harassment, insults, and alleged Nazi salutes.

The four suspects, aged 29, 45, 47, and 59, were identified by the officers involved in the incident. Upon being located, they were ordered off the train and their identities, along with those of several nearby witnesses, were recorded.

The Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg was requested to enforce a ban on travel at Stendal Central Station, and they initiated an investigation the following day, August 18, 2025. The investigation revealed that the suspects had engaged in behaviour that was offensive and in violation of Germany's constitution, resulting in criminal charges being issued against them for insults, use of unconstitutional symbols, and incitement of the masses.

Despite the charges, the four men admitted to being loud but denied any right-wing extremist statements.

In response to the incident, the four suspects were banned from further travel and issued criminal charges for their actions. The train arrived at Platform 3 at 22:15, and teams from the Federal and State Police were waiting to intervene.

The exact identities of the defendants who were charged on August 17, 2025, at the Stendal central station have not been disclosed at this time. The investigation conducted by the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
