Gathering at the Hamburg Innovation Summit 2025 offers an opportunity to engage with groundbreaking concepts

On July 10, 2025, the Hamburg Innovation Summit (HHIS) will mark its 10th anniversary. This year's event, themed "Think Again! Innovation starts with curiosity," promises to be a thought-provoking and inspiring day for all attendees.

The summit will take place at the Oberhafenquartier and will address a diverse range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence & Quantum Computing, Novel Food, Mobility & Urban Development, Industry 4.0, Climate & Energy, Advanced Materials, Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, War of Talents, and Health & Lifestyle.

Senator Dr. Melanie Leonhard and Senator Maryam Blumenthal will officially open the summit. Among the speakers are Vincent Gassl from Bluu Seafood and Volker Kallmayer from Beiersdorf, who will share their insights and experiences.

One of the highlights of the event will be the Startup Stage, featuring discussions on social entrepreneurship, venture clienting, various pitch formats, and information on funding and financing opportunities. A panel titled "What makes a good startup?" will delve into the essential elements that contribute to a successful startup.

Another panel, "From Migration to Innovation: Startup Successes in Hamburg," will showcase the inspiring stories of startups that have thrived in the city. The name of the speaker leading this discussion is yet to be announced.

The summit will also feature a panel titled "Who shapes Hamburg's future," where the city's visions, necessary alliances, and strategies for shaping Hamburg as a livable, innovative metropolis will be discussed.

The HHIS aims to create new paths for innovators through networking, collaboration, and co-creation. In addition, the Hamburg Innovations Radar will discuss trends, projects, and actors driving innovation in Hamburg.

The summit welcomes corporations, startups, higher education institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the craft industry. This year's HHIS promises to be an exciting event, driving positive global change and fostering innovation in Hamburg and beyond.
