Gathering of girls with KG Düsseldorf Radschläger
In the heart of Düsseldorf, the Radschläger carnival club, based in Haus Gantenberg, hosted a lively event that brought together tradition, music, and charity.
The evening commenced with the Raubers, the first item on the programme, who were warmly welcomed. Innkeeper Helge prepared a special treat for the team – homemade meatballs that added to the festive atmosphere.
As the Raubers took to the stage, President Gerty Roehr moderated the event alongside Mathias Knirps, ensuring a smooth flow of the proceedings. In a unique gesture, President Gerty initiated a "Silence in the hall" campaign to show respect to the speakers during the carnival.
The first polonaise of the Raubers' performance started quickly, setting the pace for an evening filled with music and merriment. The men were teased in an all-women atmosphere, accompanied by laughter, adding to the jovial spirit of the event.
The ladies' session followed, and the Raubers' performance was well-received. During this session, the ladies had to rise from their seats for the arrival of Prince Andreas I. The royal couple's song was "Düsseldorf Helau," a fitting tribute to the city.
A large choir accompanied the royal couple during their session, enhancing the musical experience. Funds were collected for two charitable causes – the Clara Schumann Music School and the Ambulant Children and Youth Hospice Service (AKHD) – during the ladies' session. An additional 200 euros were added to the donation box from an auctioned Radschläger signed by the royal couple.
The ladies participated enthusiastically, singing and dancing along during the Raubers' performance. The Radschläger, known for their inclusivity, allow men to join the ladies' sessions, unlike other carnival societies.
The event continued with schunkeling, singing, and dancing, led by Lieselotte Lotterlappen and the Ruhrpott Guggis. By 5:11 PM, the Radschläger's board and Elferrat had entered the establishment on Professor-Dessauer-Way, marking the culmination of another successful carnival event in Düsseldorf.
Despite our efforts, there is no available information in the search results about the president of the Carnival society Radschläger, based in Haus Gantenberg. Nevertheless, the event was a resounding success, filled with laughter, music, and a strong sense of community spirit.
