George Biden has accused George Clooney of working against his father in the 2024 election.

In the lead-up to the court proceedings in a Los Angeles federal court regarding a lawsuit filed by Hunter Biden against Patrick Byrne, the former Vice President's son has been making headlines for his candid and controversial statements.

Hunter Biden, in a three-hour, expletive-filled interview with Andrew Callaghan of Channel 5, shared his thoughts on several key figures and events. He suggested that his father, Joe Biden, may have been under the influence of Ambien during the 2024 presidential debate. According to Hunter, Joe Biden received Ambien to help him sleep following trips to Europe and a Los Angeles fundraiser.

Hunter's comments about his father's performance during the debate were not without criticism. George Clooney, who had initially supported Joe Biden's bid for a second term and headlined a record-setting fundraiser for him, changed his stance after Biden's disastrous debate performance against Trump in June 2024. Clooney later wrote an opinion piece in The New York Times, calling for Joe Biden to drop his 2024 presidential bid. In response, Hunter Biden expressed his opposition to Clooney's opinion and questioned why anyone should listen to him.

Clooney wasn't the only one to face criticism from Hunter. He also criticised David Axelrod, former Obama strategist, stating that Axelrod "had one success in his political life, and that was Barack Obama."

In a more positive light, Hunter Biden appeared on "At Our Table," a podcast hosted by Jaime Harrison, where he expressed his belief that his father could have won the 2024 presidential election but made the right decision for the Democratic Party. He also applauded his decision to "process the election, look inward, and hold himself accountable for how his family's insular, dare I say arrogant at times, approach to politics led to this catastrophic outcome we're all now living with."

Notably, Tommy Vietor, one of the hosts of "Pod Save America," applauded Hunter's decision to "process the election, look inward, and hold himself accountable." Anita Dunn, a longtime Biden senior adviser, has made "$40 to $50 million" off of work for the Democratic Party, according to Hunter. However, neither Dunn nor Axelrod commented when asked about Hunter's criticisms.

Hunter's podcast appearances and interviews come at a time when he is embroiled in various legal and public matters, including a lawsuit against IRS whistleblowers and discussions about his laptop and Epstein files. Despite these challenges, Hunter stated in the podcast that Joe Biden did get old but still has the mental capacity to do his job.

In a surprising turn of events, Joe Biden pardoned his son, sparing him a possible prison sentence for federal felony gun and tax convictions, in the waning days of his administration. The pardon has sparked controversy and debate, with some questioning the ethical implications of such a decision.

As the court proceedings unfold and more information comes to light, the public will continue to watch closely as the story of Hunter Biden and the 2024 election unfolds.
