Andrea Wörle Takes Lead at GermanZero's Climate Finance Division

Andrea Wörle, a seasoned expert in budget policy, has taken on a new role as the leader of the climate finance division at GermanZero, effective September 1, 2025.

Prior to this new position, Wörle held various roles within the Berlin offices of the European group of B90/Die Grünen. Her career with the organisation spanned research, advice, direction, and political coordination, with a focus on budget policy.

Wörle served as a director and political coordinator for the European group of B90/Die Grünen, where she honed her skills and built a reputation for her work in this field. Before that, she was a scientific staff member for budget policy and a consultant for budget policy.

Now, Wörle brings her extensive experience to GermanZero, an organisation dedicated to tackling climate change. In her new role, she will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of activities in the field of budget policy, specifically within the climate finance division.
