In the heart of Milan, the Pinacoteca di Brera is set to be the stage for a double milestone in Giorgio Armani's illustrious career. This year marks the Italian fashion house's 50th anniversary, and the brand is marking the occasion with an unprecedented exhibition and a groundbreaking football collaboration.

Coinciding with Milan Fashion Week, the event will be inaugurated on September 24 with a curated exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Brera. This will be the first time that the museum's halls will host an exhibition dedicated to the fashion industry. Titled Armani/Archivio, the project is an interactive digital platform that showcases the brand's twenty years of haute couture. The exhibition, which accompanied the launch of Armani/Archivio during the Venice Film Festival on August 30, will collect and display the brand's most iconic pieces.

In a nod to its rich history, Giorgio Armani also paid homage to its Giorgio Armani Privé line with an unprecedented exhibition at the same Milan museum last April.

The brand's collaboration with the world of football dates back to 1994, when Giorgio Armani created jerseys for the Italian men's national football team during the World Cup. Now, the Italian designer is making history once again by designing the formal attire for an Italian football club – Juventus. This marks the first time Giorgio Armani has designed the formal attire for a football club.

The wardrobe designed for Juventus' men's team strikes a balance between elegance and comfort, with fluid lines and a color palette centered on navy blue. The wardrobe, intended for use in national and European football competitions, includes a selection of suits.

The collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Juventus extends until 2027, making it a long-term partnership that underscores the designer's commitment to the sport. This is not the first time Armani has been involved in football – from 1994, Giorgio Armani also designed jerseys for Piacenza Calcio for three consecutive seasons.

In addition to the football collaboration and museum exhibition, Giorgio Armani has also designed the formal attire for the men's team of Juventus for the current and following sports seasons. The designer company involved in this project is, of course, Armani.

As Giorgio Armani celebrates its 50th anniversary, it's clear that the brand continues to push boundaries and innovate in the fashion and sports worlds. The Armani/Archivio exhibition and the collaboration with Juventus are just two examples of how the brand is staying relevant and fresh while honouring its rich history.
