Global live video sharing system introduced: TVU MediaMeshTM from TVU Networks enhances live video collaboration on a worldwide scale.
TVU Networks, a leading player in cloud-native live video, has made waves at IBC 2025 with the launch of its groundbreaking platform, TVU MediaMesh. This innovative solution is set to transform the landscape of live production, focusing on collaboration and flexibility rather than closed ecosystems.
For decades, live production has been shackled by fixed, physical infrastructure, dedicated equipment, and rigid routing that limits scale and flexibility. TVU MediaMesh aims to break these barriers, introducing global shared memory for live video. This revolutionary approach dramatically simplifies signal connectivity and slashes configuration time, making live signals instantly accessible anywhere, as easily as opening a shared file.
TVU's customer-led, partner-centric approach is already resonating across the industry. The new platform opens its APIs, enabling customers and partners to build, innovate, and shape the future of live production. It is designed to empower any authorized tool or team to access and contribute to live signals, giving them the freedom to produce from anywhere, using the tools they want, without worrying about the back end.

TVU has formed a MediaMesh Advisory Board (MAB) to guide the platform's evolution. Comprising leaders from seven major media companies and five partner organisations, the MAB includes BBC, Reuters, France TΓ©lΓ©visions, NHK, CBC/Radio-Canada, TV Globo, Bloomberg, In-Sync, Telos Alliance, On-Hertz, Spectatr.ai, Vela, Camba.i, and Kinetiq. The MAB will meet quarterly starting on September 3 to provide feedback and ensure MediaMesh reflects real-world needs.
At IBC 2025, TVU is showcasing interoperability demos with Grass Valley, Riedel, Matrox, and AWS. MediaMesh integrates seamlessly with Grass Valley's AMPP, providing workflows across best-of-breed solutions. AMPP users can now connect to sources from multiple vendors, including TVU's cellular backpacks, without the usual integration complexity.
MediaMesh is the foundation that powers TVU's award-winning SaaS applications for the world's largest live events. It is available today, including on the AWS Marketplace, enabling customers to deploy instantly.
The future of live production, according to TVU, depends on collaboration, not closed ecosystems. By breaking down barriers and fostering innovation, TVU MediaMesh is poised to redefine the live production industry.
