Godrej Properties has successfully sold 683 residential units in a new project located in Hyderabad, netting over βΉ1,000 crores.
In a significant move, Godrej Properties, one of the leading real estate companies in the country, has sold 683 housing units for more than Rs 1,000 crore in its new residential project, the 'Godrej Regal Pavilion', located in Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad.
The project, which was launched earlier this month, saw a strong response from customers, with 683 homes with a total area of 1.20 million square feet being sold at its launch. This strong customer response, according to Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, reflects the rising preference for trusted, branded residences and Hyderabad's strong growth potential.
The 'Godrej Regal Pavilion' project spans over a total developable area of 4.14 million square feet. With an estimated revenue potential of Rs 3,600 crore, this project is set to make a significant contribution to Godrej Properties' portfolio.
Godrej Properties is not just focusing on major cities. The company is venturing into many tier II cities for the development of residential plots in large townships. This strategic move is part of the company's expansion plans, which also include land acquisitions, both through outright purchases and joint ventures with landowners.
In fact, Godrej Properties recently acquired 7.82-acre of land in Hyderabad through an auction process for Rs 548 crore. The estimated revenue potential of the upcoming project in Hyderabad is Rs 3,800 crore, further solidifying Godrej Properties' presence in the city.
Godrej Properties already has a significant presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad. The company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made it a trusted name in the real estate sector.
Looking ahead, the next major residential project developer likely to acquire land parcels in tier-II cities in India to build large housing neighborhoods could be emerging PropTech startups or established developers leveraging the structural transformation and regulatory stability in the Indian real estate market in 2025. With some current key players like Stonecraft or GMR already engaging in specialized housing projects responding to new demand patterns, the future of the Indian real estate market looks promising.
