Gold luxury, crafted from recycled materials
Haast, a fresh new player in the jewelry sector, has made a bold entrance into the Spanish market. Founded by Damian Gonzalez and Montse Piella in October of this year, the company has already established a presence in over seventy multimarket points of sale across Spain.
Based in Manlleu, Barcelona, Haast specialises in creating luxury rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces using recycled gold. The innovative operation sees the company purchasing scrap gold and transforming it into trendy jewelry, setting Haast apart in the industry.
Haast outsources the manufacture of its jewelry to Joiper, a company with over 25 years of experience in the jewelry sector. Sempsa, another company, is responsible for melting old gold jewelry for later manipulation by Haast.
The price range for Haast's jewelry is between 300 euros and 3,500 euros, making it an attractive option for the mid-to-high segment of the public. The company employs a staff of fifteen workers and was constituted with an initial investment of 150,000 euros.
Despite its success, Haast is looking to expand its operations. The company is currently seeking a private investor to boost its growth. However, the specific private investor Haast is looking for has not been named in the available sources.
Haast is committed to sustainable and responsible production, with a focus on the environment. The company predicts a sales volume of two million euros for the next financial year, but a figure for its current year's turnover was not provided.
At present, Haast has not yet considered operating in international markets in the short term. The project for Haast had been brewing since March, and the company is off to a strong start in its mission to make a positive impact on the jewelry industry and the environment.
