Goldbeck receives additional command from BGO
In a recent announcement, Goldbeck Facility Services has revealed that they have been commissioned to manage a new logistics building, named "The Space", located in the industrial park "Star Park Halle". This addition comes as part of the company's ongoing collaboration with real estate investment manager BentallGreenOak (BGO).
The logistics building, "The Space", spans over approximately 90,000 square metres and consists of eight hall sections, each with around 10,500 square metres of usable area. This new project joins the five other commercial and logistics buildings that Goldbeck Facility Services manages for BGO, totalling approximately 150,000 square metres in Mittenwalde, Schlangen, Mittelweserpark, Paderborn, and Fürstenwalde.
Christian Ziemer, CEO of Goldbeck Facility Services, expressed his enthusiasm for the new project, emphasising their commitment to providing seamless building operation. The company has also been commissioned by property manager Redhead to manage additional logistics halls, demonstrating their growing expertise in this sector.
The takeover of "The Space" was finalised in July 2020 by GLS Germany. The contract includes technical and infrastructural building management for the logistics building, further expanding Goldbeck Facility Services' responsibilities.
The company's management of "The Space" is separate from their existing projects for BGO, ensuring each building receives focused attention and care. Goldbeck Facility Services' portfolio now encompasses a diverse range of commercial and logistics buildings, underscoring their versatility and reliability as a facilities management provider.
