Goldschmidtstrasse's construction underway for the next phase
On August 25, 2025, the much-anticipated CITYBAHN expansion in Essen will commence on Goldschmidtstraße in the east of the city. This significant development will affect two Ruhrbahn bus lines, specifically lines 154 and 155, which will be rerouted between the Rathaus Essen and Goldschmidtstraße stops during the construction period, estimated to last approximately four months.
During the construction, pedestrian traffic can bypass the construction site on the side. A detour for individual traffic will also be set up. For more detailed traffic information, residents and visitors are encouraged to visit www.our website/verkehrshinweise.
