Golfing equipment manufacturer Titleist set to unveil the latest iteration of its acclaimed golf ball model on the professional tournament circuit this week.

The golfing world is abuzz with excitement as Titleist, a leading name in the industry, unveils the latest addition to its esteemed lineup - the Pro V1x Left Dash. This new iteration is set to debut at the PGA Tour's Procore Championship and DP World Tour's BMW PGA Championship.

The Pro V1x Left Dash, first recommended in approximately 6-8% of golf ball fittings through Titleist's fitting app, has already made a significant impact. Notable players like Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland have been seen using or endorsing this ball. DeChambeau, for instance, relied on the Pro V1x Left Dash when he clinched the US Open in 2024.

Titleist claims that the Pro V1x Left Dash delivers exceptionally fast ball speeds and a higher ball flight, similar to the Pro V1x, while offering a lower spin in the long game and the firmest feel off the club face across its golf ball lineup. This makes it an attractive choice for players seeking to maximize distance off the tee while maintaining control and stopping power.

The development of the Pro V1x Left Dash was a collaborative effort between Titleist's R&D teams and tour players. Frederick Waddell, Director of Titleist Golf Ball Product Management, played a key role in overseeing the project and ensuring the ball met player expectations through iterative prototyping and feedback.

The Pro V1x Left Dash is not the only exclusive Titleist golf ball model making waves. The Pro V1 Star, described as a softer, spinnier Pro V1, and the Pro V1x+, which sits between the Pro V1x and Left Dash, are also popular choices among the world's best golfers.

The Left Dot, another exclusive Titleist golf ball model, is known as the lowest launching, lowest spinning Pro V1. On the other hand, the Pro V1x Double Dot offers less spin compared to the Pro V1x, making it a favoured choice for some players.

In 2025, the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x were the most successful golf balls on the PGA Tour, claiming a combined total of 19 wins. With the introduction of the Pro V1x Left Dash, Titleist is aiming to further solidify its position as a leader in the golf ball market.

Simon Earl, Titleist's Leadership Promotion Executive, revealed that three exclusive models are put in play by the world's best golfers. The new Left Dash, with its unique blend of speed, distance, and control, is poised to join this elite group.

As the Pro V1x Left Dash makes its debut on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, golf enthusiasts and professionals alike are eager to see how this new ball will perform under pressure. With its pedigree, innovative design, and the backing of some of the world's best players, the Pro V1x Left Dash is certainly a ball to watch.
