The Orgill Triplets Graduate from Cardiff University

In 2025, the Orgill triplets, Rose, Maudie, and Grace, achieved a significant milestone in their lives as they graduated from Cardiff University. The sisters, hailing from Gloucestershire, had decided to study in the same city, a choice that proved to be a memorable journey.

Initially, going to university together was not part of the plan for the Orgill sisters. However, a visit to Cardiff University during an offer-holder day sparked a shared enthusiasm that led them to Edinburgh, the city chosen by their family for their studies.

The sisters, Rose with a BSc in chemistry, Maudie with a BA in history, and Grace with a BSc in biomedical sciences, found themselves in the same six-person flat at university. Living together allowed them to make triple the number of friends and fostered a strong bond between them.

Their academic journey was not without challenges. On the day of Rose's final chemistry exam, their grandfather passed away suddenly. Despite this heartbreaking news, the sisters found solace in each other and carried a tribute to their late grandfather during their graduation ceremony, wearing a ribbon and forget-me-not flower on their gowns.

Maudie, the youngest, captained the netball team in her final year, a role Rose had also held for the first team in varsity for the netball club. All three sisters were involved in the Cardiff University Netball Club, a shared passion that brought them closer.

As they prepare to embark on new adventures, the sisters have plans to travel, starting in south-east Asia. Maudie plans to return to Cardiff for a law conversion course, while Grace is considering joining the RAF. Rose may move abroad for work, but the family, including their father Phil Orgill, is excited for the future and potential reunions in the same city.

Grace stated that living at university felt like moving home, a testament to the strong bond the sisters forged during their time at Cardiff University. Their journey serves as a reminder that shared experiences can create unbreakable bonds, even as life takes them in different directions.
