The ORTA FEST eco-festival has made its grand entrance in the Central Park of the capital, inviting citizens and guests to join in the celebration of a more sustainable future.

The festival, which brings together eco-activists, nature protectors, and advocates of a healthy lifestyle, has started off with a bang, featuring a variety of events and installations. One notable event was the EcoHuman competition, where artists created stunning installations using repurposed materials.

Maira Izmailova, the festival's producer, emphasized the importance of this approach, stating, "The aim is to fill the letters to the brim to show that used materials are a valuable resource." A large installation of the letters ORTA, over two meters high, was set up near the "City Clock" installation, inviting visitors to contribute by filling the letters with plastic bottles and textiles.

Another popular attraction at Central Park during the ORTA FEST festival is a giant cat made from recycled materials, created by the FUNK agency and local artists. This feline creation has become a hot spot for photos among festival-goers.

The festival is divided into 10 thematic zones, each symbolizing important city values such as sustainable development, creativity, and inclusivity. More than 30 city communities, representatives of active longevity centers, and youth organizations are participating in the festival.

The Alley of Eco-Art is another highlight, showcasing artistic objects created from secondary and eco-friendly materials. Visitors are encouraged to explore and appreciate these creations, which embody the festival's mission to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle and develop the culture of conscious consumption.

In recognition of the creativity and effort put into the EcoHuman competition, eight participants were awarded 150,000 tenge each. The ORTA FEST eco-festival continues to invite all to join in the celebration of a greener, more sustainable future.
