Group of 6 students taken into custody for alleged harassment of a Form 3 pupil
In the small town of Pasir Mas, a shocking incident occurred at a local school earlier today. Six Form 4 students, all aged 16, are currently in police custody following the attack on a fellow student.
The incident unfolded at around 10am, where the victim was almost strangled with a wire. A quick-thinking teacher, passing by the area, prevented a potential tragedy and intervened, saving the student's life.
The Pasir Mas police chief, Kama Azural Mohamed, confirmed the arrests of the six 16-year-olds this morning. The police have applied for their remand and will issue a statement on the matter later.
However, details about the six students arrested or the type of school they attend are not yet available. The victim's aunt took to Facebook to share her distress, stating that her nephew was slapped, beaten, and had his pants pulled down.
In a troubling turn of events, the families of the six students involved visited the victim's parents' house and asked them to withdraw the case. The victim's aunt emphasised that if not for the teacher's timely intervention, the outcome could have been much worse.
The police are investigating the incident further, and more information is expected to be released in due course. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of respect and kindness in our schools and communities.
