Gujarat Police Conduct Raid on Ahmedabad Office, Claims Aam Aadmi Party
In a series of tweets on Sunday, the Gujarat unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed that a raid on their office in Ahmedabad was a result of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) being "frightened" by the growing popularity of the party in Gujarat.
The raid, which lasted for 2 hours, occurred soon after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Ahmedabad. However, no immediate action was taken by the Gujarat Police regarding the AAP's claim.
Isudan Gadhvi, the AAP's Gujarat state leader, stated that nothing was found during the raid. He also suggested that the BJP will not find anything in their offices in Delhi or Gujarat, implying that the AAP leaders and workers are "hardcore honest."
Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP national convenor, criticized the BJP after the raid, stating that the party is "extremely rattled" by the AAP's support in Gujarat. He further claimed that the BJP is conducting raids in Gujarat, similar to those in Delhi.
The AAP's tweet did not mention any immediate action taken by the Gujarat Police regarding the raid. The leadership of the BJP that conducted the raid on the AAP office in Ahmedabad is not specified.
The Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled to be held later in the year, and the AAP has been making significant strides in the state, causing concern for the ruling BJP. The AAP has been focusing on issues such as water scarcity, electricity shortages, and corruption, which have been pressing concerns for the people of Gujarat.
The AAP leaders have vowed to continue their fight against corruption and to provide a clean and efficient government to the people of Gujarat. The party has promised to bring about a significant change in the state and to put the interests of the common people first.
The AAP's tweet criticized the BJP for the raid at their office in Ahmedabad and reiterated their commitment to fighting for the people of Gujarat. The party has been gaining momentum in the state, and the raid has only served to strengthen their resolve to continue their fight against the BJP.
