Heilbronn City and County Incident Report:

In a series of unexpected events, the past weekend saw a flurry of incidents in Heilbronn and its surrounding areas. From accidents to burglaries and street races, the local authorities have been kept busy.

On Saturday morning, two motorcyclists were seriously injured in an accident near Neudenau. In a separate incident, a 57-year-old man was injured in a cycling accident in Schwaigern. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

In Heilbronn, an illegal street race occurred between two vehicles on Mannheim Street, ending in a traffic accident on Salz Street. The driver of a high-performance Daimler, who had previously come to police attention for driving without a license and participating in illegal street races, fled from the police and lost control of his vehicle. The young man sustained minor injuries, and a blood test was conducted, with his vehicle seized.

A car caught fire in Georg-Kohl Street, Brackenheim, near the central bus station, on Sunday morning. The fire department was able to contain the fire quickly, preventing further damage.

Meanwhile, a burglary took place in an apartment on Nordbergstraße in Heilbronn between August 19th and September 1st, 2025. The burglars stole several valuable items, including jewelry and gold, with the total value of the stolen items estimated to be in the five-digit Euro amount. Unfortunately, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed.

In Lauffen a.N., a high-value e-bike was stolen from a bike rack at the Lauffener swimming pool. The stolen e-bike is a Canyon brand model, and anyone with information about its whereabouts is asked to contact the Lauffen Police Station.

The Heilbronn Police stepped up their presence over the weekend, conducting targeted traffic checks from late Friday evening into the night. Six vehicles were measured driving above the speed limit, six mobile phone offenses, one traffic offense, and one case of driving under the influence of intoxicants were recorded. Seven cases of causing unnecessary noise were penalized.
