High-rise hotel nears 98% capacity occupied

The ONE Tower, a high-rise building designed by Meurer Architektur + Stadtplanung, has recently received the prestigious platinum certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council. Located at the entrance to the Europaviertel in Frankfurt, the tower has nearly reached full occupancy, with a total of approximately 68,000 square meters now 98% occupied.

The ONE Tower, completed in 2022, stands approximately 190 meters tall and is a significant addition to the Frankfurt skyline. Its polygonal shape and distinctive crown make it a standout in the city's architectural landscape. The tower, along with its ancillary building, forms two architecturally significant places in the Europaviertel.

The ONE Tower houses a variety of spaces, including office spaces and a co-working space. Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank will now occupy about 4,600 square meters in the tower, expanding its leased area by 1,621 square meters. Merck Finck a Quintet Private Bank is also moving its Frankfurt headquarters to the ONE Tower from the Westend, signing a long-term lease for the premises. Only two units of approximately 800 square meters each, on the 34th and 46th floors, remain available in the tower. One of these units can be divided to accommodate smaller lease requests.

The ancillary building of the ONE Tower boasts 470 parking spaces. The tower also features a 4-star superior hotel under the nhow brand, public facilities such as a skybar and a café in the lobby, and aims to expand upon traditional office buildings and integrate them more strongly into the urban context.

The ONE Tower has received several notable accolades, including the DGNB diamond award for architectural and urban quality, the SmartScore and WiredScore certifications in platinum, and the rare DGNB diamond award. These recognitions underscore the tower's commitment to sustainability, technology, and urban integration.

The real estate consulting firm Colliers was involved in negotiating the lease with Merck Finck, further emphasising the ONE Tower's appeal to businesses seeking a modern, sustainable, and technologically advanced workspace. The ONE Tower continues to be a significant addition to Frankfurt's skyline and a testament to the city's ongoing development and innovation.
