High-Speed Car Chase in Biberach: On a Sunday afternoon, two motorists were suspectedly zooming through Biberach at speeds deemed excessively fast.

The Ulm Police Headquarters is urging drivers to be mindful of their speed following two recent incidents of excessive speeding in the region.

According to the police headquarters, speeding is one of the main causes of accidents, and accidents involving excessive speed often have serious consequences. A serious accident can have lifelong consequences for both victims and perpetrators.

On Thursday afternoon at 1:45 PM, a 47-year-old man driving a BMW was clocked speeding at 138 km/h on the B30 near Hochdorf by Biberach police officers. Just three hours later, at 3 PM, a 55-year-old Nissan driver was clocked speeding at 107 km/h on the bypass road towards Hubertus-Liebrecht-StraรŸe in Warthausen.

Both drivers now face a fine of at least 200 euros, one point in Flensburg, and a one-month driving ban.

The police conduct speed checks around the clock to increase road safety. They advise drivers to slow down, not to underestimate their own abilities, and to account for mistakes others might make.
