In a shocking turn of events, an Italian businessman from northern Italy found himself at the centre of a public outcry after a video he filmed and posted online showed him speeding at an alarming 260 kilometers per hour on a German highway.

The incident occurred on August 15, according to the manager of the local water supplier in Lodi near Milan, who justified his actions by claiming that there was no speed limit on the stretch of German highway where the incident took place, near Stuttgart. However, this defence has not silenced the criticism, with many viewing the businessman's actions as dangerous and irresponsible.

The video footage, which has since been deleted from the businessman's Facebook and Instagram accounts, shows the speedometer needle steadily increasing towards the dangerous speed limit. If such behaviour were to occur in Italy, where it is also prohibited to use a mobile phone while driving, a temporary driving ban may be imposed, along with a fine of at least 100 euros and points on one's license.

The manager of the local water supplier in Lodi near Milan is now under scrutiny for his "dangerous behavior," with the opposition in the city calling for his dismissal. The manager, who remains unidentified in the provided search results, is accused of encouraging young drivers to speed.
