High Stakes Showdown at WSOP Europe: Boyakovsky and Troyanovsky Advance to Final Day of €25,500 High Roller Tournament
Title: High Roller Tournament at WSOP Europe 2018 Reaches Final Day
In Rozvadov, Czech Republic's King's Casino, the final day of the €25,500 High Roller tournament unfolded during WSOP Europe 2018. Roman "Paks13" Pakhutkin, our in-house journalist, provides updates from the event.
The High Roller tournament took place on October 24-25 as part of the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe. With a WSOP gold bracelet and a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool on the line, the tournament attracted some of the world's best players.
A total of 133 entries were made, including 89 unique players and 44 re-entries, creating a prize pool that surpassed the guarantee, more than tripling. Minimum payouts began at 20th place, worth nearly €40,000, while the winner's share totaled almost €850,000.
Among the distinguished players taking part were WSOP bracelet winners Martin Kabrel, Dominik Nitsche and Adrian Mateos, Chris Ferguson, Igor Kurganov, Liv Boeree, Kristen Bicknell, and Nikita "fish2013" Badyalovsky and Vladimir "vovtroy" Troyanovskiy, who started strong on Day 1, advancing to the final day with 49 other players.
Nikita "fish2013" Badyalovsky declined an interview but offered a few comments: "I've made 4 entries. I'm at 4 starting now, so I'm even. I've made some. I'm not into the spotlight, no social media. I can't stop people from discussing my results, just no comments from me."
Vladimir "vovtroy" Troyanovskiy started with a 4.45M stack but ultimately finished in 12th place after a key hand where he shoved with A-Ks against K-K on the flop in a hand on the big blind.
When asked about the hand, Troyanovskiy shared his thoughts: "One of the key hands was K-K in Q-9. After that, everything fell apart… With A-10 in 10-7. On the turn, he should have gone all-in, of course. And 4 and 6 would have hit there. On the river, all-in would have been a mistake. But who knew there was A-high? The first bullet went in at 100K. It was the only one."
In the final table, Nikita Badyakovsky qualified in 3rd place among eight players, eventually finishing in 4th place, earning a payout of €267,000. It's worth mentioning that Nikita had recently won €213,750 in a €25,000 High Roller tournament held the day before.
Meanwhile, Anatoly "Dykalis" Zyrin, another notable player, shared his insights on his performance: "I haven't gone anywhere for 15 days. Just playing. Had a super night on Omaha 25-25. Negative. After the WSOP-C main event, nothing went right. Series is in the red. Bankroll is fine. Only spends money on living and traveling. Nothing on himself, food, alcohol."
Ultimately, it was Nikita's opponent, Michael Addamo, who took home the prestigious WSOP gold bracelet and almost €850,000 in winnings.

- I'm not sure if I should discuss my recent poker results, but I have to admit, I've made some significant winnings at the casino-and-gambling events, including the €25,500 High Roller tournament at the WSOP Europe 2018.
- Despite participating in the casino-games like poker and sports betting, I prefer to keep a low profile and avoid the spotlight, focusing on my game rather than engaging in social media conversations about my casino-games performance.
