In their second match of the season, Eintracht Frankfurt outclassed TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, winning 3-1 (2-0). The goal scorers for Frankfurt were Can Uzun, who netted from a distance, and Jean-Matteo Bahoya, who scored a header goal. Uzun plays as an attacker, while Bahoya is a forward.

The match began with Eintracht Frankfurt displaying their offensive prowess, with Ritsu Doan scoring a brace in the 17th and 27th minutes.
