Home Invasion in Mettingen: Unidentified Individuals Carry Out Break-In and Subsequently Escape, According to Polish Police Reports
On the evening of Wednesday, 22nd January, a burglary occurred at a single-family home on Sonnenstraße in Mettingen, Steinfurt. The police are currently investigating the incident.
According to reports, the burglars gained entry by breaking a window at the rear of the property. Upon entering, they rummaged through furniture on the ground floor, but the exact nature of the items they were searching for remains unspecified.
Two men dressed in dark clothing were described as the perpetrators. An eyewitness reported seeing them fleeing on foot towards the western wooded area of the affected building.
The police received a report of the burglary on the same day. As of now, it is unknown if anything was stolen during the incident.
