Honda's Largest Coupe Mystery Persists After Tokyo Exhibition Remains Unveiled
Honda has announced an exciting lineup for the Japan Mobility Show 2025, with the iconic Honda Prelude set to headline the brand's booth. The event, scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 9, will also feature seven motorcycles, power products, and an aircraft.
The Prelude, expected to be customizable but not yet available for purchase, is speculated to be presented with the optional Sports Style package from Honda's Genuine Accessories range. However, the exact identity of a second coupe visible in the teaser image remains a mystery.
The lineup, which consists of at least nine vehicles, includes the Honda 0 Series Saloon and SUV prototypes, scheduled to enter production in 2026, with the SUV being built in Ohio. The electric Honda N-One e, a kei car, is also expected to debut at the show.
Another notable motorcycle to be displayed is the Rebel 1100 S, equipped with a dual clutch transmission, while an electric commuter bike named CUV e will also be on showcase.
In addition to the Prelude and the mystery coupe, Honda may present the Vezel e:HEV in RS trim and the CR-V e:HEV at the event. The N-One e fitted with Mugen accessories could be displayed separately, and there's a possibility of a sportier variant of the N-One e resembling the Super EV prototype shown at Goodwood being presented as well.
The HondaJet Elite II small business jet will be the aviation centrepiece of the exhibition. More details about the Japan Mobility Show 2025 lineup will be shared in stages through Honda's dedicated website.
The press days of the Tokyo show will take place on October 29 and 30, with the public welcome to visit between October 31 and November 9. Stay tuned for more updates as Honda continues to tease its lineup for the Japan Mobility Show 2025.
