In a shocking turn of events, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) has arrested Robert Pinon Shrader, a former patient care director at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. The arrest occurred around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, following an investigation into invasive visual recording.

According to the arrest warrant, footage from the hidden cameras showed Shrader hiding the devices, as well as multiple people, including hospital staff, in various states of undress. The cameras were found in the West Tower of the hospital, specifically in a unisex bathroom and a single stall bathroom on the third floor.

Upon learning of Shrader's behavior, Memorial Hermann immediately engaged law enforcement and terminated him. The hospital released a statement expressing shock, upset, and offense at Shrader's actions, stating that they have zero tolerance for such conduct.

Hospital security found a second SD card and a second camera still in the box in Shrader's office. The cameras, identical in appearance, were hidden in the ceiling tiles and in a single stall bathroom. Over 308 videos and images were found, showing multiple people using the bathroom aside from Shrader.

Memorial Hermann has performed security sweeps across the Woodlands Campus to ensure the safety of its patients and staff. The MCSO examined all SD cards as part of the criminal investigation, and they also reviewed Shrader's employment records and found no related complaints.

Daniel Bonilla, a neighbour of Shrader, was surprised by the presence of Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies in his neighbourhood on the day of the arrest. Bonilla did not know Shrader but described him as a normal, quiet neighbour. Bonilla's home cameras captured Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies in marked cruisers and undercover cars filling his neighbourhood street on the day of the arrest.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has not provided comments to KTRK. Robert Pinon Shrader is accused of installing hidden cameras at Memorial Hermann Health System's The Woodlands campus. The arrest warrant does not specify the motive behind the alleged actions. A $5,000 bond is listed per charge for Robert Pinon Shrader.

Memorial Hermann Health System's The Woodlands campus employee Robert Pinon Shrader is identified as the hospital's patient care director on LinkedIn, although the hospital has yet to confirm his position. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
